so this afternoon, there was a random car accident across the street from our house.  a van was sticking out from my neighbor's driveway and another car ran into it.  i think some teenager was driving.

reminds me of the time when we first moved into our house a few years back and some kid decided it would be a genius idea to drive backwards on our street.  just stick it in reverse and step on the gas.  idiot lost control, hit the curb and then swerved straight into our driveway.  crashed right into gid's brand new gti, pushing his car into our garage door completely smashing it and scratching our car parked inside.  wow, can't wait til my son starts driving.

So it seems a side effect of having two kids now is an increase in father/son time.  Since most of Rachel's energy and time is devoted to caring for Gabby, Zachy and I get to run around the house chasing bad guys all day and shooting alligators and monsters in our rooms.

We've also been out riding his scooter, playing in the sandbox and practicing his homerun swing.  Oh and most importantly, we've been playing lots of Lego Star Wars.  He's good too.  And he doesn't like being R2-D2, because in his words, "R2-D2 can't shoot the bad guys."  Smart boy.

home sweet home

looks like my first post will be in honor of our first daughter.  got to bring her home today.

not biased here, but she's got the cutest scream and cry in the world.  well, maybe ask me again in a month at 4am ;).

thanks for all the emails, calls and visits.  gabby can't wait to meet the rest of the world.
